You're Not Aloneნიმუში

Scripture Reading:
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Devotional:
Barrenness, in whatever form it shows up, loves to whisper lies:
You're forgotten.
You're failing.
You're alone.
We remember seasons where those lies felt louder than anything else. There were nights we sat on opposite sides of the bed, too hurt, too exhausted or too numb to even know what to say to each other. We’ve walked into church services with brave faces and broken hearts. Some days it felt like we watched the world move on while we were still feeling the cycle of questions, frustration, and grief that others didn’t have to navigate in their journey.
And yet, even in those solitary places, God showed up.
It wasn’t in big, dramatic ways. It was the friend who brought a meal without needing an explanation. In the counselor who held space for our tears. In the moments where one of us found the strength to say, “You’re not the problem. This is not your fault. I’m still with you.”
We encountered the God who stays through people, through His Word, and through the quiet presence that refused to leave us without hope.
If isolation is trying to write your story, please hear us: You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. You are not alone. God is still near. And He is still using your life, your love, and your legacy.
There is still purpose in your marriage. There is still a legacy God has for you. You may feel like your story is off course, but nothing is wasted when it’s surrendered to God. Not even this.
“Before you move into reflection, take a moment together. Let this be a safe space to be honest with yourself, with each other, and with God.”
Reflect Together:
- Where have we let isolation take root in our story?
- What are some tangible ways we can step toward community, honesty, and healing?
Prayer:
God, remind us today that we don’t have to walk this alone. Surround us with friends who will be available. Help us see that legacy is not just about outcomes, but about living in You and You living and loving through us. Amen.
