Jesus First in Everythingნიმუში

Jesus Leads the Church
“And he is the head of the body, the church.” Colossians 1:18 (ESV).
The Church belongs to Jesus. He is the Head, which means He leads, guides, and gives life to His people. The Church is not about a building or a leader—it’s about following Jesus together. When we let Him lead, we stay united and full of purpose. Jesus doesn’t just lead the Church—He also wants to lead your life.
Is Jesus leading your decisions, both in church and in your daily life? How can you follow Him more closely?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You that Jesus leads the Church and leads my life. Help me to follow Him, listen to Him, and trust His way instead of my own. Let my life and my church reflect His love. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

Jesus is more than a teacher or a good example. He is the center of everything. In Colossians 1:15–18, we see that Jesus is the image of God, the Creator of the world, the One who holds everything together, and the Head of the Church. These truths show us why Jesus should be first in every part of our lives. Over the next five days, this devotional will help you know Jesus better and make Him your top priority.
