Son,
before you breathed your first breath, I loved you.
Before you fought your first battle, I chose you.
Before you stumbled your first step, I called you.

Your worth is not based on your victories or your failures.
It’s not measured by the applause of men or the approval of the world.
It’s anchored in the unbreakable, relentless, blood-sealed love I have placed upon you.

There is nothing you can do to make Me love you more.
There is nothing you can do to make Me love you less.
You fight not for My love—you fight from it.

Wear My love like armor, son.
It makes you bulletproof to shame.
