Day 2: Prayer for Clean Water Access

Reflection: Water is life. Without it, nothing can survive or thrive.
Jesus spoke of living water, the spiritual refreshment that comes from knowing him, but he also cared deeply about physical needs. Millions of children worldwide lack access to clean, safe drinking water, facing disease, dehydration and even death.

As we pray for clean water access, we're reminded that God is the source of all life and refreshment. He promises to satisfy our deepest thirsts, both physical and spiritual. The living water Jesus offers doesn't replace our need for physical water, but transforms our hearts to care for others' practical needs. When we become channels of God's living water, we're compelled to act: to dig wells, purify water sources and advocate for those whose voices often go unheard.

Today, let us pray for communities without clean water, for organizations working tirelessly to provide it and for our own hearts to overflow with compassion.
