Trust God in ALL Circumstancesნიმუში

“Have you had enough of God?” 🤔
Can you have “enough” of God?
Once, I had a conversation with a man who leads a large Christian organization that left me confused. He said: “You know, Déborah, through my work, I deal with the Word of God and many theologians all day long. Yes, everything I do is about faith and the Bible. So eventually, I need to take a break.”
On one hand, I understood that, but on the other hand…
…I realized that doesn’t work for me. Despite my busy schedule and traveling 650 kilometers for three BibleTV shoot days, I wanted to open my Bible first thing the next morning 📖
Even if you feel “full of God” today, there’s more of Him along the way!
Let’s be honest, as always. I was exhausted and would have preferred to lie on the couch and watch Netflix. But I knew and felt that I needed to give something to my soul NOW so that my faith didn’t turn into a “job.”
While my work with BibleTV recordings helps spread the faith, I know that we can only share what we first experience IN THE SILENCE… what we first LIVE out ourselves.
It’s tricky, but be careful that your faith doesn’t turn into a job when it should become your life!
This is also the warning Jesus gave when He said: “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and … in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you…’” (Matthew 7:22-23 NLT) 😲
Let’s take a moment to reflect today: Are we really living our faith? With everything it entails? A real relationship—in intimacy—with God? Think about it—and maybe it’s time to straighten out a few priorities in your life…
You are a miracle!
