Hope and Healing for Your Life

DAY 3 OF 7

He Can and He Will

Do you ever look around at your life and think, Who’s going to help me with this? There are lots of middlemen between us and the answers we seek. The hoops we have to jump through to get to those with authority can feel discouraging at times. When we look around at our lives, we often see overwhelming odds, unbeatable diagnoses, or impossible tasks. We may look at ourselves and see our limitations, but when we move our eyes to God, we realize it is not our strength that heals and brings victory. It is his. We need to move from the attitude of “I can’t” to “He can.”

God is faithful to powerfully move in goodness toward his people. He created everything, and he can do whatever he pleases. When we realize that what he pleases is to heal, restore, redeem, and set free, we join our faith to his faithfulness. When we feel overwhelmed and overrun by our circumstances, let’s readjust our mindset. Let’s remember who God is. He isn’t worried, overcome, or hesitant. He is all-powerful, full of love, and incomparable in miraculous strength. Remember, when you can’t, that’s okay. God can, and he will.

Whenever you are faced with the temptation to give up hope, direct your attention to who God is, how he moves, and what he wants to do in and through you. Read stories of healing and deliverance in the Bible. Remember that the God who worked miracles in Bible times is beside you right now. His heart of love is the same as it has always been.
