What Did Jesus Teach?ნიმუში

The Way Up… Is Down
If God is building a new kind of world, you might think He’d start by picking the rich, the powerful, the polished, and the put-together.
But Jesus flips that completely. He looks around and says:
“Blessed are the poor… the mourning… the hungry… the ones who feel invisible…”
(See Matthew 5:1–12 NIV)
In other words:
You’re not disqualified because you’re broken—you're invited because you are.
That’s what made Jesus’ teaching so radical. He didn’t reward the winners of life. He lifted up the ones who thought they didn’t matter.
He called this the Kingdom of God. But it looked more like a table full of misfits than a throne room of elites.
He said:
- Love your enemies.
- Be kind to the unkind.
- Don’t chase revenge.
- Don’t try to be impressive—be real.
If that sounds upside-down, you’re not wrong. But Jesus called it the blessed life—not because it’s easy, but because it’s real. And it’s the kind of life that heals the world.
So think about this—or ask a friend:
- Who do you think is “blessed” in our world today?
- Why do you think Jesus flips that?
- What kind of life would be possible if you didn’t have to impress anyone?

About this Plan

If Jesus really is who He says He is, then what He taught matters—deeply not just for religion, but for real life. In this 7-day plan, you’ll explore the core themes of Jesus’ teaching: who God is, what love actually means, why forgiveness frees you, and how His words lay the foundation for a whole new way to live. This isn’t about vague inspiration or rule-keeping. It’s about rethinking everything around the words of a man who claimed to bring God’s kingdom—starting now.
