Horizon Church August + September Bible Reading Plan - the Gospel in Motion: Luke & Actsნიმუში

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorise it, we carry the Word of God with us wherever we go. Through this study, we will be memorising a scripture from Luke & Acts. Today, we are combining them, reflecting on Luke 1:45 & Acts 1:8 (NIV).
Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
These two verses remind us that belief and empowerment go hand in hand. As we trust God’s promises, we are also filled with His Spirit and sent out as His witnesses.
We encourage you to keep these verses close—incorporate them into your prayers, speak them over your life, and let them settle deep in your heart. May they continue to shape your faith and fuel your purpose long after this study ends.
About this Plan

Luke and Acts are two parts of one story, written by Luke to show how Jesus began His work and how it continued through the early Church. Luke tells of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, while Acts follows the Spirit-empowered mission of His followers. Together, they reveal God’s plan to bring salvation to all people. As you read, expect to encounter Jesus and be inspired to live boldly for His Kingdom.
