When You’re Excluded and Uninvitedნიმუში

Trust Your Identity in Christ
There’s something deeply unsettling about feeling rejected—being left out of a conversation, passed over at work, or forgotten by people you hoped would see you. It hits at the core of our desire to belong. But the good news is this: your worth isn’t determined by who includes you.
You don’t need to chase approval or prove yourself to earn value. In Christ, your identity is secure. You’ve been chosen, accepted, and made new. God didn’t pick you because you fit a certain mold—He created you with intention and purpose. You don’t belong because others say so; you belong because He says so.
I never wonder if I belong in my family. I live in the same house, carry the same last name, and share years of memories and moments with them. My place there isn’t based on performance—it’s based on relationship. That’s how it is with God.
When you trust your identity in Christ, you stop striving for the world’s approval and start resting in God’s truth. You are His—fully, completely, and forever.
Respond to God’s Word:
Write down three unchanging truths about your identity in Christ. Keep them somewhere visible. When feelings of rejection come, remind yourself: I am chosen. I am loved. I belong.
