RETURN to ME: Reading With the People of God #16ნიმუში

Hope for Restoration and Renewal
In today’s readings, we encounter a powerful vision of God’s justice and restoration. Joel looks ahead to a day when God will gather all nations for judgment but also pour out His Spirit, renewing the land and His people. This future hope reminds us that God is actively working to restore what has been broken and to establish His kingdom fully.
In Mark, we see Jesus caring for His disciples after their hard work, feeding thousands with just a few loaves and fish, and then walking on water in the midst of a storm. His presence brings peace, provision, and reassurance in moments of weariness and fear.
Both passages invite us to place our hope in God’s renewing power—whether through the promise of His Spirit or His calming presence amid life’s storms.
Where do you need God’s restoration or peace today? How can you lean into His provision and trust His timing?
May these readings encourage you to return to the God who restores, provides, and walks with you through every challenge.

About this Plan

This 16th installment of our Reading with the People of God plan invites you into the voices of the Minor Prophets—Hosea through Nahum—calling God’s people to return with sincerity and trust. Paired with the Gospel of Mark, we’ll hear Christ’s invitation to repentance and renewed faith. Each day includes readings from Psalms, the Old Testament, and the New Testament, with a brief devotional primer. May these readings draw you nearer to the Lord, awaken your heart to His mercy, and echo His faithful call: “Return to Me.”
