A Prayer for My Husband: Part 1ნიმუში

Introduction
As a married woman, I don’t know about you, but my husband will forever be a fascinating creature to me. One minute you feel like you know him and that you both have it all figured out, and the next minute — bam! — you have no idea who this person is. It’s a never-ending rollercoaster ride. Some days are amazing while others can be hard — really and truly hard.
But as Christian wives, the Lord has promised us that He will never leave us. All the keys to a happy and fulfilling marriage are in His letter to us — the Bible.
Why should I pray for my husband?
Dear sisters, more than ever before, the ministry of men is under huge attack! Men are called to be the heads of the family, society, the church, and more. They give their children identity. They lead, love, and protect… well, at least they used to.
It started so subtly — with both husbands and wives playing the same roles, then men becoming more feminine, and now the very men who are to give identity have no identity! This is no coincidence; it was and is an old plan of the enemy.
We need to rise in the place of prayer — for our husbands, sons, and brothers!
I have found that interceding for my husband, even on the hard days, makes a huge difference in my marriage. I want this to be your testimony too.
Join me as we pray for our husbands using the Scriptures and watch God do wonders.
(To be prayed daily — even when you don’t feel like it.)
I recommend placing your hand on your head as you pray. Remember, your husband is your head (Ephesians 5:23). As you touch your head, you touch him.
Get ready to decree and pray!
Day 1: His Heart
Scriptures: Ezekiel 36:26-27 ; Psalm 51:10
Decree:-
Ezekiel 36:26-27 (ERV)
I will also put a new spirit in you (insert husband’s name) to change your way of thinking. I will take out the heart of stone from your body and give you a tender, human heart. I will put my Spirit inside you and change you so that you will obey my laws. You will carefully obey my commands.
Prayer:
Lord, this is what I ask You to do in (insert husband’s name)’s life. My husband will have divine heart surgery! Create a right spirit within him and change his way of thinking according to Your Word.
(A heart of stone could represent addiction, unbelief, a lifestyle of sin, nonchalance — anything that does not glorify God.)
Father, remove every heart of stone! Let the Holy Spirit reside in his heart — teaching, directing, and guiding him. Holy Spirit, I ask that You cause him to obey Your laws and commandments every minute of every day. May Your voice be the loudest in his mind and heart.
He is who You say he is! He is a provider, a leader, and a man of faith. He leads our home in every aspect. He knows his identity in You and does not question his worth.
Father, heal my heart. In any way I have been hurt, today I choose to forgive and let go. Help me see my husband the way You see him, and teach me to love him as You love him. Thank You for working on my heart, too, Jesus. I receive a heart of flesh — willing to listen and love.
