Jesus will always be with you.
Before returning to heaven, Jesus promised to always be with His followers. If you believe in Jesus, when you leave your home and go to school, Jesus goes with you! He will give you the courage to do what is right. He will give you the strength to help others. He can help you love your classmates, even when it is hard. He will even help you know how to tell others about Him! You never have to worry about being alone at school because Jesus promised to always be with you!
Our class could be a family
We’d treat each other right
And Jesus will be in our schools
As we spread love and light!
Question:
Even though we can’t see Jesus, how do we know He is always with us? How does it make you feel knowing that Jesus is always with you?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for always being with me. Help me trust that You are always with me at school.

About this Plan
As we send our children to school each day, we know they will have the opportunity to be salt and light in their classrooms for Jesus. Inspired by April Graney’s picture book, If Jesus Came to My School, this devotional walks through how Jesus loved and served people on this earth, encouraging children to treat their classmates with kindness and love while pointing them to Jesus.
