Time is one of the most valuable things we have, and unlike money, we can’t save it up. Jesus tells us to store our treasures in heaven, and that includes our time. But how can we use our time in a way that honors God?

When we spend time with God—whether through prayer, worship, or serving others—we store up eternal treasures. However, we often approach time backwards:

• First, we schedule rest.
• Next, we prioritize fun and obligations.
• Last, we fit God into what’s left over.

What if we flipped that script?

Instead of making God an afterthought, we could let Him guide how we spend our time. He created time, and He knows how best to balance it.

Look at how you spend your time. Who is truly in control? If you say Jesus, does your schedule reflect that? Start giving your time to God and watch Him work.
