Expecting Miraclesნიმუში

Day 5: Living Between the First and Second Coming
Devotional:
We live in a “now and not yet” reality. Jesus performed many miracles during His earthly ministry, and He promised even greater things at His return. The Holy Spirit empowers believers today, but the fullness of God’s kingdom is still coming. This tension challenges us to hold firm to hope, pray expectantly, and live faithfully as we await the day when every tear will be wiped away and all creation restored.
Summary:
- We live in the tension between Jesus’ first coming miracles and the future fullness at His return.
- The Spirit gives us power and gifts, but not the complete fullness yet.
- We should expect miracles but not demand them as guarantees.
Reflection Question:
How does living in this “in-between” time affect your expectations of God’s power today?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill me with hope and power as I wait for Jesus’ return. Help me to trust Your timing and purposes. Amen.
