Miracles and Mysteries: Matthew 8-13ნიმუში

Who do you think is beyond Jesus’ reach?
Matthew, a tax collector, was a traitor in the eyes of his own people—working for Rome, exploiting others for profit. He was despised. Yet, Jesus walks up to him and says two simple words: “Follow me.” And Matthew does. He leaves everything behind.
Later, when Jesus is eating with Matthew’s friends—other tax collectors and sinners—the Pharisees scoff. Why would a holy man associate with such people? Jesus’ response is clear: “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” He came for the outcasts, the unworthy, the spiritually sick. No one is beyond the reach of the Kingdom of Heaven and its King.
Today, ponder this: Do you ever feel too far gone for Jesus? Or do you look at others and think they are beyond His grace? Jesus came for the unlikely, and that includes you.
