Becoming More Effective in Prayerნიმუში

A CALL TO EFFECTIVE PRAYER (1)
It is important to revisit your effectiveness in the place of prayer. Prayer is a very common, yet misunderstood subject. A man of God once said that knowing how to pray is more important than having a university degree; while he was not disparaging higher education, he was calling the children of God to the realization of their power with God.
Prayer is something almost everybody does. While most people want their prayers answered, most Christians don't know whether their prayers have been answered and many don't even care. Many believers don’t know that some prayers are not answerable. Regardless of how much you shout or shake your head, if you are praying against the laws established by God, your prayers will go unanswered.
From a biblical point of view, many believers are complaining instead of praying effectively. Complaining is unwelcome in heaven. There’s no complaint bureau in the presence of God but our heavenly Father is concerned about His children, and He is willing to answer their prayers. I believe God that as we go through the different matters that lead to effective prayer, you will get answers to questions you may have had about prayer and that your prayer life will never be the same.
PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from folly in the place of prayer. Show me where I may be missing it in prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen!

About this Plan

The Bible says, 'O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.' We know God is committed to answering the prayers of His children, yet some pray without receiving answers. Prayer is meant to be a two-way communication between you and God, and He is always eager to respond. In this 28-day devotional, I will be sharing insights on how to pray effectively and receive answers from heaven.
