Where Would I Be: A 5-Day Devotional With Peter Burtonნიმუში

Where would I be if I didn’t have mercy?
Mercy is the act of withholding deserved punishment. Mercy is not getting what we do deserve. In Romans 3:23, the Scriptures tell us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We are all sinners, and our sin deserves a punishment. We need mercy and without it, we have no hope.
But God, being rich in mercy, had a plan to save us from ourselves. As human beings, we will never measure up. Every single day, multiple times a day, we need the mercy of God to cover us. The good news is that Scriptures tell us that His mercies are new every morning!
I can’t imagine what life would be like without the constant gift of God’s mercy morning by morning, but thank God I’ll never have to know.
About this Plan

In this 5-day devotional, we will look at the amazing life we've been given in Jesus. Inspired by the themes of Peter Burton’s song "Where Would I Be," we will focus on a specific life-transforming aspect that comes with being a follower of Christ. The aim of these five days is to know and remember just how good He is and to be overflowing with gratitude for all He has done in our lives.
