A Child's Guide To: Becoming Like Jesus Through the New Testamentნიმუში

Giving Jesus Everything
“So, I tell you that all her sins are forgiven, and that is why she has shown great love. But anyone who has been forgiven for only a little will show only a little love”
Luke 7:47 (CEV)
One day, Jesus was eating dinner at an important man’s house. A woman came in who wasn’t invited. She went to Jesus and started crying. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them with her hair. She had brought with her a jar of expensive perfume. A person would have to save all their money for a year to buy it! She freely poured it out on Jesus’s feet.
Why would she do that? Because she loved Jesus so much that she wanted to give him everything she had. Jesus loved her even though she had done bad things in her past. He liked her gift because he knew she gave it out of love.
When you love someone, you really want to show them. You do nice things for them, like this woman did with Jesus.
How much do you love Jesus? Are you willing to live for him in every part of your life? When we realize how much he loves us, it makes us want to love him back, especially when we know he forgives our sins. Think about that!
TIME TO PRAY
Jesus, thank you for forgiving my sins and loving me so much. Help me to love you back!
