Easter: A Walk Towards Holy Week (10 Day Plan)ნიმუში

DAY 9 | From Death to Life
Paul's words remind us that through Christ's death and resurrection, we have died to sin and been raised to new life. This transformation is not just a future hope but a present reality. Our old nature, once enslaved to sin, has been put to death. Now, we are called to walk in the "newness of life," empowered by the same grace that saved us. This does not mean we won't face temptations or struggle with sin. It means that sin no longer has dominion over us. We have the power of the Holy Spirit in us. He enables us to choose righteousness and to yield our lives to God as His instruments. This transformation means we lay aside the things of our former selves, be renewed in our minds, and walk in the things of God's holiness and righteousness.
Reflect on areas of your life where you still struggle with sin. How can you more fully "consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus"? Today, consciously choose to live in the freedom and power of your new life in Christ, resisting sin and pursuing righteousness.
GUIDED PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the transformative power of Your grace. I am grateful that through Christ, I have died to sin and am alive to You. Help me to walk in the newness of life each day, embracing the freedom You have provided. Strengthen me to reject sin’s dominion and to live for You in all areas. May my life be a testament to the incredible work You have done in me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
