The Big Pictureნიმუში

Day 29: Hebrews 1–Jude 1
These are the final letters from various church leaders to Christians worldwide. Hebrews has an unknown author but builds a case for the superiority of Christ to everyone in history. James, the half-brother of Jesus, wrote about practical living for a Christ follower.
In 1 and 2 Peter, we are encouraged to stand firm amid persecution and stand up for the truth, not to be swayed by false teaching. 1, 2, and 3 John focuses on the need for sound teaching in our churches and being known by our love of action and teaching.
Jude, another half-brother of Jesus, also warns of new cults and counterfeit gospels that may distract us from the truth.
As you read today, focus on these two questions for discussion:
- What question from today’s reading came to mind?
- What question did you have that today’s reading answered?
