Steps to Salvation: A Simple Guide to Sharing Your Faithნიმუში

Day 5: The Assurance of Salvation
Scripture Reading: Romans 5:1, Romans 8:1-2, Romans 8:38-39
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." – Romans 5:1
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." – Romans 8:1-2
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." – Romans 8:38-39
Confident in Christ
Salvation is not just a moment but a lifelong relationship with God. When we place our faith in Jesus, we are justified—declared righteous before God. This righteousness brings us peace with God, an unshakable reality that is not based on our performance but on Christ’s finished work.
Romans 8:1 reminds us that no condemnation exists for those who belong to Jesus. The guilt of sin is erased, and we are set free. The enemy may try to accuse us, and we may struggle with doubt, but God’s Word is clear: we are not condemned, and our salvation is secure.
Paul goes even further in Romans 8:38-39, declaring that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Not sin, not failure, not fear—nothing in all creation can undo what Jesus has done. If you have placed your faith in Christ, you are His, and He will never let you go.
Your Story
Today, take time to reflect on the confidence you have in Jesus. How has knowing you are secure in Christ changed the way you live? If you have struggled with doubt, what truth from today’s reading brings you the most comfort? Write out a few sentences about what assurance in Christ means to you.
Prayer Prompt
Father, thank You for the assurance of salvation. I am grateful that I don’t have to live in fear, wondering if I am enough. Jesus has already paid the price; nothing can separate me from Your love. Help me to live boldly and share this good news with others. It is in the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
Challenge
The Bible tells us that we overcome evil through the blood that Jesus shed on the cross and the power of our testimony. Over the last five days, you’ve learned how easy it is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Take your testimony and share it with a family member or friend, you may be the one to lead them to Jesus Christ.
