Praying From Paul's Lettersნიმუში

All Scripture Is From God
"All Scripture is God-breathed." (2 Timothy 3:16, NIV)
Prayer
Almighty God, You spoke, and the universe took its shape. You commanded, and it stood firm. Your Word is life. Your Word is truth. Your Word stands forever. Heaven and earth will pass away, but your Word will never pass away.
Ignite in us a deep desire to read Your Word. To ponder, understand, know, and memorize Your Word. Holy Spirit, teach us the deep meaning. Clarify parts that are difficult to comprehend. Help us to consume and absorb Your Word into every fiber of our being. Change us as we read and listen. Help us desire the things You desire, think Your thoughts, walk in Your ways, and pray the prayers of Your heart. Let Your Word take us over, Holy Spirit.
Christ Awards a Crown of Righteousness
“Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness.” (2 Timothy 4:8, ESV)
Prayer
Thank You, Lord Jesus, You have purchased for us the crown of righteousness. We are made right with God by Your blood. May our love for You expand as we await Your return. May we be found faithful until that day when You take us home. The crowns You won for us, we will present back to You, and lay at Your feet. Worthy is the Lamb slain for the sins of the world! Holy, Holy, Holy are You! In Your name, Amen.
