SERVING WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE
As Christians, we are called to serve others. Whether it's volunteering at church, helping a friend move, or simply being present for a loved one, serving is an essential part of our faith. But serving isn't about what we do - it's also about why we do it. In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul reminds us that even the most impressive acts of service are meaningless if they're not motivated by love.
Think about it: if we serve others just to impress them, or to make ourselves feel good, or to gain recognition, we're missing the point. But when we serve with love - when we put the needs of others before our own, when we show kindness and compassion, when we give without expectation of reward - that's when our service truly makes a difference.
Let's ask ourselves: what's our motivation for serving? Is it to impress others, or to serve with love? Let's strive to serve with the right attitude, and to make a difference in the lives of those around us.
