Why is Jesus unique? Jesus is unique because He taught His disciples to live their current life in light of eternity.

Jesus teaches us to keep eternity front and center of our lives. He teaches us that life on earth is short and that eternity is very important. He taught His disciples to approach persecutions in light of eternity. He wants us to weigh to the temporal nature of sin's pleasures with its eternal consequences. He wants us to approach money with eternity's perspective.

Given that Jesus came down from eternity into human space and time, He was very well aware of eternity and its importance. He taught this unique principle to His followers.

One of the reasons why Jesus is unique is because of this unique approach that He brings to human life—living with eternity's perspective.
