The Mysteries of Praiseნიმუში

Praise is a Weapon
To conclude the Mysteries of Praise, I want to highlight a most Profound Truth: Praise is a weapon. In the face of overwhelming odds, in the heat of fear, in the euphoria of wins, let Praise be your greatest weapon.
When the mighty armies of Moab, Ammon, and Mount Seir came to wage war against Judah, Jehoshaphat was afraid. But instead of succumbing to fear, he sought God’s Heart through prayer and fasting. God’s answer was clear: “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15).
In response to this divine assurance, Jehoshaphat appointed singers and worshippers to lead the frontlines of the battle. As they marched into the battlefield, their weapon was the power of their Praise, not the strength of their army.
They sang, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His Love endures forever,” and as they did so, God set ambushes against their enemies, turning them against one another. The people of Judah gained victory and plundered the enemy without lifting a sword. Indeed, God had fought for them using the great weapon of Praise.
Praise confounds the enemy because it flows from faith, not fear; it declares victory even before the battle is won. The mystery of Praise as a weapon is that it shifts the battle from our hands to God’s. When we Praise, we acknowledge His Power and surrender to His Intervention.
Reflection
What battles are you facing? Like Jehoshaphat, choose Praise as your lead weapon and watch God fight on your behalf. The battle is not yours—it belongs to the Lord.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the assurance that my battles belong to You. Let my Praise be my weapon, declaring Your Power and Victory over every situation. I surrender my battles to You, knowing that You will fight for me. Amen.
We hope the Mysteries of Praise devotional guides you into deeper, richer Praise to our Lord.
