How to Multiply the Gospel // Gospel X - Multiplying the Gospelნიმუში

Peter and John are walking towards the temple when a beggar asks them for help. Instead of giving him money, which they do not have, they ask God to heal him. In other words, they pray. Prayer is a life-changing and powerful tool. There are many instances in the Bible when people first get confronted with the power of God by receiving prayer. They experience the gospel through prayer. This is still true today.
There are countless instances when people experience either the healing power, a feeling of peace or love or acceptance, or some other miracle as a direct reaction to prayer. Those prayers do not have to be long or awkward. Like Peter, it can be enough to just say one sentence. But prayer is a very effective way of sharing the gospel.
There is no need to share the gospel with people before, just ask them if you are allowed to pray for them. Often this prayer opens doors to further conversation. Do not underestimate the power of prayer. It is not that you force anything upon people. It is just an easy question: May I pray for you? If they decline, that is fine as well. No one gets hurt. If they agree, there is a chance that the Kingdom of God will break into the life of that person.
- How often do you ask someone if you are allowed to pray for him or her?
- What have been your experiences so far?

About this Plan

Jesus left the church the vision of a movement when he challenged us to reproduce from our own Jerusalem into “Judea, Samaria and the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). For us to see a movement, we need every Christ follower to adopt Jesus' personal mission to “seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10). Evangelism is core to the mission of Jesus and essential to accomplishing his vision. This plan is part of a 5 week journey built around the topic Gospel X - Multiplying the gospel.
