Intercede for church and national leaders to be guided by wisdom, compassion, and the truth of God's Word.
All authorities have been appointed by God (Romans 13:1) and His Word instructs us to intercede for all people in positions of authority. This is pleasing to God who longs for all people to be saved!
1 Timothy 2:1-2: Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made ... for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
Prayer: Father, today we pray for all leaders and authority figures in our country and across the globe. May they rule with Godly love and wisdom, and come to faith in Christ. Amen.
