One a Dayნიმუში

Jerusalem is known as a high place for it lies on the top of a hill. As people would approach the temple mount for their several festivals, they would sing this psalm. There are a handful of psalms called “psalms of ascent” which were usually recited as you ascended the hill to the city of God. Imagine Jesus singing these psalms as He approached as a child and, even later, as He was headed to the cross. Jesus sang. It is recorded more than once that Jesus sang and He knew the psalms well. He recited psalms as He went to the cross. Never underestimate the power of writing the Word on your heart through song. It can carry you through even the most horrible of days.

About this Plan

Welcome to a plan that is designed to go slower together. We wanted to take things slow to allow for better meditation - one chapter a day covering every major division of the Bible. We staggered the order as well in order to keep things fresh. We have chosen a book from the Torah, historical books, the poetic writings, and the Prophets from the Old Testament. And, in the New Testament we have a Gospel, Pauline epistle, Hebrews, and the Revelation.
