Journey With Jesus 365ნიმუში

"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:27)
Jesus sets forth a clear but challenging requirement for discipleship in this verse when He calls us to “bear [our] cross.” Following Jesus sometimes involves sacrifice and a willingness to surrender our own desires to live for Him. Taking up our cross means accepting whatever hardships or changes may come as we strive to live for Him.
The Christian life isn’t always easy, but Jesus promises that His way leads to true fulfillment and eternal life.
Are there areas of your life where you’re holding back from God? Trust Him fully today, even if it means giving up comfort or security. When we surrender to God, He will give us strength and provision for the journey.
How can you “take up your cross” today in your walk with Jesus? Ask Him to help you trust Him more deeply, letting go of anything that may be holding you back from wholehearted discipleship.
