Living in Increase (Part 9) - Increase in Healthნიმუში

Eat with Others
There is that phrase again: meet together. The Bible can’t stress enough how important it is for believers to get together and hang out, but not just “hang out.” We are also called to eat together–to break bread.
We aren’t called to sit in a room listening to other people chew. Sorry to those of you with misophonia–ear plugs may help! We are to eat together with glad and sincere hearts. We should be happy to be with the people we eat with; it should be a joyous occasion! We should also be praising God while enjoying everyone’s company.
Jesus demonstrated the importance of this several times in the Bible. There are about fourteen references in the Bible to Jesus breaking bread with others. In all these cases, Jesus taught those around Him (and all of us who read the Bible) a lesson: eating together is becoming one body in Christ.
