Grace + Glory: 7 Days of Experiencing God's Astounding Generosity From Louie Giglioნიმუში

A Generous Kingdom
As we come to life in Jesus, we are invited to become radically generous people. We aren't called to simply give away our leftovers-the few unallocated dollars in the budget or the clothes we've outgrown.
Instead, we are called to give our firstfruits. To bring forth our best and give it sacrificially, to the extent that it will actually seem foolish to the world. Why?
Because Jesus modeled that kind of generosity. He set the example, and who are we not to follow in the footsteps of our Savior?
Gratitude is the wellspring of generosity. When you receive the grace of Jesus and acknowledge you did nothing to earn His love, the only response you can have is thankfulness that turns into worship.
Pray that God would release the grip you have on your possessions. Ask Him to remind you of His grace, given so freely. The more time you spend with Him in His Word and in prayer, the more grateful you will become.
Prayer
God, help me to see Your salvation as the foundation of my gratitude. Thank You for Your generous joy, peace, and hope that overflow in my heart.
