You Matter (Teen Girls)ნიმუში

DO YOU JUDGE AND DO THE SAME THINGS?
Not long after I mutter crabby words about the way someone is driving in front of me, I’ll get in a pickle and do something similar. Or maybe I’ll quietly judge a friend for talking trash about someone else, but then I’ll hear myself say something that’s not entirely kind. So not only am I judging others, but I am judging them for the exact things I’m doing myself. Often what we find most intolerable in others are the ways they reflect something of our own sin and brokenness! But Paul directs our gaze from ourselves and others and toward the One who loves us from “the riches of his kindness.” That is what can change our hearts!
Prayer: Lord, You know the condition of my heart. Forgive me when I judge others, and fill me with Your kindness, forbearance, and patience, for Your glory. Amen.
