He Hears

There are days, and sometimes nights when God seems too far away to hear your cries for help. You feel as if you’re hanging on the edge of a cliff with no breath to scream. Small pressures have turned into one big one, and you need to be rescued. You’re not alone in that; we all need to be rescued from time to time. But God does hear. Not only that, He acts on our behalf with regard to anything that causes concern for us in our daily lives. He knows the peril of living in a world of temptation and strife. He takes seriously the cries of His children. He is never far away—and He is always close enough to reach out and touch us in our need.
