Reflect
How would you describe what the writer of this psalm was feeling at the time? What does the writer ask of God? What verses speak of the writer’s trust in God? Have you ever experienced a time of waiting when you drew upon your trust in God? If so, what was the situation and what were your thoughts during that time?
Pray
Lord God, you hear me when I call out to you. I wait for your help. I trust in your love and mercy, knowing that you forgive my sins and hold me close in the safety of your love and care. Amen.
