God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)ნიმუში

The Risen Christ - Day 10
We all have those deep dark secrets, the things we desperately hope no one ever finds out about. Then we find out someone else’s secret and we justify ourselves with, “At least I didn’t do that.”
I wonder if people saw Peter not once, not twice, but three times denied he knew Jesus, and breathed a sigh of relief. “At least I didn’t do what Peter did.”
Yet, even when Peter did something we might call unforgivable, Jesus forgave him. On top of that, Jesus still loved him and reinstated him as one of his disciples. If God can forgive Peter for completely denying him multiple times, how much more can and will God forgive us for those things we regret?
