GOD HAS CHOSEN YOU, HOLY AND BELOVED

Through His grace, God has chosen you to be His daughter. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice and your acceptance of Him in your life, you are now accepted and holy in God’s eyes. But when you began to believe, you did not automatically take on the Christlike attributes of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Yet you now have the responsibility to adopt them. At the same time, you are to forgive others just as God forgave you. And above all, put on love. This may sound like a tall order. It’s certainly one you cannot fulfill on your own. But there is no need to despair. Simply surrender yourself to the control of God’s Spirit. He alone will bring you to the place God wants you to be to become the woman God created you to be—to His glory and your joy!

Prayer: Lord, I surrender myself to the control of Your Spirit. Help me to be compassionate, kind, humble, gentle, patient, and forgiving. Above all, help me give others the love You’ve given me!
