Bright Lights, Big Cityნიმუში

In Scripture, a contrast between the light and the darkness is displayed throughout its pages. But what does this mean? Light represents the goodness of the Gospel and Jesus, while darkness represents the sins of the world. A life of darkness is depressing, sorrowful, lonely, and hurtful. But thankfully, we aren’t stuck in that life. When we allow Jesus to come into our lives, we can be free from the grip of darkness and sin that has a hold on us. We can have hope because of Jesus. He came to bring the light of God into a spiritually dark and dying world. He gives us freedom from our harmful desires, struggles, hurts, and sins. So, if we follow Christ, we don’t have to live in darkness any longer!
I challenge you to share this news with someone you know who might need this encouragement. Tell them about how, with Jesus, you are walking in the light.
