Cultivating a Spiritual Legacyნიმუში

Preparing the Soil of the Heart
The parable of the sower is one of the most well-known and powerful narratives told by Jesus. It teaches us about the importance of the disposition of the soil of the heart to receive the Word of God and produce lasting fruits. On this first day of our devotion, let's reflect on how to prepare our hearts, being good "soils" for the seed of the Word.
Just as a farmer carefully prepares the soil before sowing, we too must prepare our hearts to receive the Word of God. This involves removing stones of unbelief, weeds of worldly concerns, and preparing fertile ground through prayer, meditation, and study of Scripture. When our hearts are ready, the seed of the Word can be planted deeply, taking root in our lives.
Prayer:
Lord, help us prepare our hearts to receive Your Word. Remove any obstacle that may hinder spiritual growth within us. May we be fertile soils, ready to produce fruits that glorify Your name. Amen.
