Day 7:

The Longing for More

Lord, help me fight the temptation of longing for more. I live in a time where more is what people seem to get stuck longing for. Help me remember that You have provided everything I need. Oftentimes the more I need in life, is more time with You - my Creator. I pray for a heart that remains steadfast in trusting You, no matter what. I long to know You more deeply. In Jesus' name, amen.

Matthew 6:19-21

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
