Living a Set Apart Lifeნიმუში

Sacrifice and Holiness
The third part of living a set-apart life is presenting ourselves to God as a sacrifice and living holy.
In today's passage, Paul urges us to respond to the message of the gospel based on the understanding of the undeserved kindness God shows towards us. We are called to continually offer ourselves in service to God and understand we should be dead to sin yet alive in Christ.
Being a set-apart believer is not about how we operate in a physical church but about seeing ourselves as God’s temple (1 Cor 6:19). God has made us a holy priesthood so we offer ourselves, which involves the heart and mind in contrast to physical offerings and sacrifices. (1 Pet 2:5, 9) Our set-apart life should reflect a correct understanding of the gospel message and a rational response to it.
