The Author and Finisher.

”Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.“ Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Look to Christ. For He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. He is the Author and Finisher of our Peace. He is the Cornerstone of our Love-walk with God. He is our Refuge. He is our Peace in times of the storm.

According to Strong’s Concordance the Greek word for “Author” is, ‘archēgos’ (G747) which means, “the chief leader, prince.” Christ is the Chief leader of our Peace. He is the Chief leader of our heart. May He build you up in times of turmoil. May He strengthen your faith. May He still your heart. May He give you Peace on every side.

May He Finish what He’s started in you. May you overcome every obstacle that comes your way. May your heart safely trust in Him. For His Love is Everlasting. For His Love is Sweet. His Love is impenetrable.

For He is Good. He is Kind to all generations. He is Good to all who seek Him. May He draw near unto you. May you draw near unto His Heart. May He forever Author your footsteps. May He make your feet like hinds' feet, and set you upon high places.

According to Strong’s Concordance the Greek word for “Finisher” used in Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬ is, ‘teleiōtēs’ (G5051) which means, “a perfector”. Christ is perfect. May Christ perfect that which He has planted in you. May He order your steps. May your walk reflect His Heart in all of your ways.
