God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)ნიმუში

Gideon - 1/5
We don’t know a whole lot about Gideon’s life before God showed up. We do know that he wasn’t impressive. He threshed his father’s wheat in secret to hide the grain from the enemy nations oppressing Israel. The Bible tells us God allowed Israel to be oppressed because they turned from God and were evil. Yet God did not abandon them. He appeared to a totally average guy—a guy who had a lot of doubts, by the way—and set into motion a plan to save the Israelites.
We may not have foreign nations making our daily lives miserable, but we all experience frustrations, battles, struggles, and giants we can’t defeat alone. Whether it’s something personal, a medical struggle, consequences for decisions we have made, financial struggles, relational struggles, job struggles, you name it, God has not abandoned you. You may not see a way out, but God can use something that seems normal or average to redeem your relationship with Him.
