What Do I Do? Believe in the Lamb

BESIDES BEING THE LAMB, Jesus also describes Himself as “the gate” (John 10:7-10)—the entrance that allows us to be with the Father in His Kingdom. Believing in Jesus and accepting His gift of forgiveness and new life is the only way to come to the city of God when all is made new again.

In a conversation with Jesus, the Pharisees said, “We want to perform God’s works, too. What should we do?” Jesus replied, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent” (John 6:28-29). Jesus wants us to believe in Him for salvation because He has given up His life as the Lamb slaughtered for our sins. Believe in Him, and He will accept you into His Kingdom and write your name forever in His Book of Life.
