A Microphone

Peter’s intent was to write his letter to the early church…bullied by the culture, persecuted by politicians, and minimalized by a madman. What Peter was unable to fully comprehend was he was writing to all generations of Christians in all the centuries yet to come.

The Holy Spirit used Peter…the uneducated, passionate fisherman as a microphone to speak to the church of the twenty-first century. The book of 1 Peter was divinely designed and sacredly created to bring hope to a people who know heaven might be only one breath away.

What a timeless way to live…just one breath away from seeing Jesus, face to face!

Day Two Prayer:

Dear Jesus, help my unwillingness. I give you my stubborn heart and ask You to make me willing to say a resounding “Yes!” to You, no matter the cost. Give me the courage of Daniel in the lions’ den and the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. Use me, Father, to make hell smaller and heaven bigger. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
