Pause: A Month of Joy in Five Minutes a Dayნიმუში

Proclaim
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” (Phil. 4:4-5)
Prompt
Part of being a human being in this world is that our joy eventually bumps into non-joy in others. It’s just the nature of life. We don’t all get along at all times, even those who really love us.
When someone you love does something to steal your joy and rob you of your passion, when someone tries to hold you down and keep you in a box: recognize those for the lies they are and then pick up your hope.
Write down a list of affirmations and remind yourself that who the Son set free is FREE indeed. Remember who you really are: you are victorious, you are a beloved child of the King of Kings, and you were made for something great.
What you’ve been through doesn’t define you, it’s only refined you into the person you are today. Take joy!
Prod
Okay, you just read it, so now do it: write down a list of affirmations about yourself. What does the Bible say about you? Put it in a place where you’ll be reminded who you really are.

Pray
Jesus, thank you for calling me your beloved! I am new because you make me new! Through everything I went through, you’ve been there to pick me up. You are enough for me. You are everything to me. Because of your love, I can love myself today. Thank you for being everything I need! Wow! Amen.
