Christ in the Old Testament: A 5-Day Advent Reading Planნიმუში

Isaiah in the New Testament
Isaiah is a fascinating book full of prophecies that point directly to Christ’s coming and His sacrifice. As you read, notice the specificity of his words and how they are fulfilled throughout Jesus’s life and ministry. You can find echoes of Isaiah's words in Matthew 8; Mark 15; Luke 23; John 1 and 11; Acts 8, 10, and 13; and more.
The significance of these words coming true should not be ignored. It is yet another example of God’s complete control over our world and our lives. After reading, spend some time thinking about the ways God’s words have come true in your own life, in ways both great and small.
