Real Lifeნიმუში

One of the best parts of gardening is being able to harvest what you’ve grown over just a few months. To know that you’ve put your best effort into helping small seeds become fruit or vegetables that everyone can enjoy. Those efforts include daily watering, pulling endless weeds, and planting in the right spot for optimal sunlight. The effort that you put in has a direct effect on what your garden will produce.
Well, the same concept applies to our spiritual lives as well. When we take the time to truly invest in our relationship with Jesus Christ, our lives will naturally reflect the fruits of the Spirit written about in Paul’s letter to the Galatians. They are not only proof of the effort that we put into our spiritual walk, but they also show the people in our lives what the Spirit can do for them.
Has there ever been a fruit of the Spirit that you have struggled to reflect? Maybe you’ve struggled with being kind to the people around you when you’re frustrated, or perhaps you don’t quite know what goodness looks like in the context of your life. This week, focus on one fruit of the Spirit that you want to show to others. Ask the Holy Spirit to help cultivate that in your life specifically.
