Prayers for Writers: Praying God's Word Over Your Writingნიმუში

Prayer Topic for Writers: Strength
Father God, I acknowledge my utter weakness before You today. Running on empty is an understatement. Like a marathoner hitting the wall at mile twenty, my spiritual and emotional energy has been depleted.
I call upon You in this moment to tap into Your unlimited resources. I don’t want to simply survive...I want to thrive as a Kingdom writer. I don’t want to merely tread water, but rather, move forward with powerful strokes with the energy You supply.
I want every word of my writing journey to be fueled by the inner strength of Your Spirit. As I sit down for this writing session, refresh my soul, renew my vision, and revive my heart. Rearrange my inner being so that Jesus feels right at home.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, today I trust that You are good. You always want the best for me as Your child. I trust that You also want my writing to thrive in ways I haven’t yet seen. I surrender every word, sentence, and paragraph to You today. I want my writing to whet my readers' appetites to know you more deeply.
Cause my roots to go deep into the soil of Your love. Nourish my soul so that I’m completely satisfied with You. Give me the strength I need this day to write the words that outlive me.
It’s in the strength of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

About this Plan

There’s something powerful about praying God’s Word over our lives and writing. By ‘praying God’s Word, ’ we’re talking about piggybacking off words and prayers found throughout Scripture.
