It's All About Love?!ნიმუში

Love vs. obedience
Jesus says:“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me.”(John 14:21)
Loving God is not just about your emotions or feelings. It is also about making good decisions and obeying His commandments on a daily basis.
Initially, it may sound strange for a love relationship to be characterized by obedience. However, if we think this through, it does make sense that people who love God will long to do exactly what honors and pleases Him. They do not want to grieve their Lord and Savior!
The Bible clarifies that our obedience cannot earn us God’s love. It is a free gift. But when we are filled with His love and love Him back with all our hearts, it is only natural to keep His law as much as we can.
The same goes for loving other people. If we really love them, we will automatically keep God’s commandments about treating our fellow humans well: “Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:10).
Love and obedience are no opposites. Joyful obedience to God’s commandments is a fruit of true love.
Do you find joy in doing God’s will?
