Faith & Love: A One Year Bible Reading Plan - Part 5ნიმუში

When children were brought to Jesus so that he might bless them, the disciples tried to stop them (Matthew 19:13-14). They did not think it was appropriate for Jesus to give this much attention to children.
In turn, Jesus uses children to teach the adults about His kingdom.
A toddler is confident in their parents’ love and never hesitates to run to them to be picked up or to ask anything they might need or want. This speaks of their trust (or faith) in their parent’s love for them.
In the same way, we ought to trust the Father’s love for us and keep on running to him with all our needs and desires as if we were toddlers. This childlike liberty and trust in God’s love for us is the faith required for a flourishing relationship with our heavenly Father.
Is there perhaps a request or situation you are too shy to speak to God about?
Trust in His love for you and bring it to Him today.
